Our History

Every talk, workshop, and event since OUQIS was founded in 2019

Founded in September 2019 by Maria Violaris, OUQIS started with over 100 members in its first term. From panel discussions with Oxford professors to Q&As with Scott Aaronson, from hands-on Qiskit workshops to pub trips, we've built a community that makes quantum information accessible and exciting.
