The Teleportation Console

Enough narration, recruit. Run the console yourself, one stage at a time, and watch exactly where Ψ actually goes.

Every stage matters. Notice the moment Alice measures: her two qubits collapse into two ordinary classical bits, and Ψ is genuinely, permanently gone from her lab. Not hidden, not paused, gone. Notice that the classical bits take real time to reach Bob, and that dropping the channel speed to Slow stretches that wait out in front of you, because that phone call is classical and there are no shortcuts. And notice the correction at the end: whichever of the four random outcomes the sacrifice happened to produce, the matching correction on Bob's end always, unfailingly, restores Ψ.

Then try try to read Bob now before the bits arrive, as many times as you like. His qubit is not a half-formed Ψ waiting to firm up. It is noise, and it stays noise, until the two bits that say which correction to apply have travelled to him at ordinary speed. Run it a few times and watch a different random outcome land the exact same result.
