Calibration drill, and why teleportation can't work this way

Listen up, recruit. A calibration drill before the real thing. That gold axis is a state we've chosen, and your job is to prepare our fuel qubit to match it: tap the presets, watch the fidelity climb, then lock it in. Get comfortable with the readout, because in about ninety seconds you're going to need to read it under fire.

And note what you just did, because it's what teleportation is not. You could match that state because someone told you what it was. Alice's VIP qubit comes with no such label. Nobody knows what it is, and nobody is allowed to find out. That is the whole difficulty, and the whole trick.
