We are Surrounded!

Mission 6: Quantum Teleportation. Part of the Quantum Courier Service, a free course from the Oxford University Quantum Information Society.

The situation is critical. An Echo Network strike team has surrounded our safehouse on the High Street. Agent Alice is trapped inside.

Alice is in possession of a highly sensitive, utterly irreplaceable Quantum State (a VIP Qubit). The physical fiber-optic lines have been severed. The roads are blocked (even worse than usual Oxford traffic). There is absolutely zero physical way to transport this photon to Agent Bob at the Clarendon Lab.

If the Echo Network breaches the door, they will measure the VIP Qubit and destroy it. We must get it to Bob immediately. But since we cannot move the physical particle, we must do something much more extreme.

We are going to leave the physical photon behind, strip its "soul" (its quantum state), and instantaneously reconstruct that soul inside Bob's laboratory. We are going to teleport it.
